Bay Area Community Resources (BACR)
The BACR Summer Program provides students with a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where they are supported by caring adults and encouraged to grow socially and emotionally. Our program is intentionally designed to empower students through meaningful social-emotional learning (SEL) experiences that promote respect, kindness, responsibility, and peaceful problem-solving.
A Summer of Discovery, Growth, and Fun
Our dynamic summer program blends learning with excitement, offering students a well-rounded experience that supports the whole child. Participants will enjoy:
- Social-emotional learning that strengthens confidence and resilience
- High-energy fitness and wellness activities
- Hands-on STEM exploration.
- Creative expression through cooking, art, dance, and gardening
- Strategic thinking and teamwork through board games
- Nutritious snacks to keep minds sharp and bodies energized
- Each activity is thoughtfully planned to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create joyful, lasting memories.
Our Vision
We are committed to building a supportive and inclusive community where every child has equitable access to enriching opportunities. We believe all students deserve the experiences and guidance necessary to become inquisitive, confident, and empowered individuals.
Our program ensures that children feel safe, valued, and respected as they grow. By fostering positive relationships with caring adults, we help students build healthy self-esteem, develop empathy, and resolve conflicts constructively.
We also recognize that families are essential partners in student success and actively encourage parental involvement in every child’s growth and development.
Our Commitment to Students
Through intentional program design, we promote peace, safety, and positive relationships while helping students understand the impact of their choices. We create space for children to:
- Explore their passions
- Practice healthy habits
- Strengthen social skills
- Develop leadership qualities
- Dream boldly about their futures
The BACR Summer Program is more than a summer experience — it is a foundation for confidence, connection, and lifelong growth.
