Emerson is in its 6th year as a Community School, focused on Social Emotional Learning, Equity, and Academic Excellence.
We are in the 6th year as recipients of an arts-grant. We've focused on establishing arts-integration as a core part of our program and built that out to incorporate dance and instrumental music.
We collaborate with African American Male Achievement and African American Female Excellence. Working towards racial equality is a core piece of our program. This is evident in classrooms, in representation of teachers of color, and our vision.
