- Applying for FASFA, college, jobs, and scholarships is embedded in the 12th grade curriculum. Students have received full academic and athletic scholarships; internships, and mentorship opportunities.
- McClymonds has graduated Black male students at a higher rate than the district average. In 2019-2020 school year, Black males graduated at 91.2% from McClymonds, while the district's average was 66%.
- The Football team has been undefeated for over 10 years in the Oakland Athletic League, won the North Coast Championship 4 times, and the State Championship 3 times. There are also champion tennis, soccer, basketball, cheer, and track/field teams.
