Grass Valley Elementary

As a Maker Centered Learning school, Grass Valley students engage in semester-long projects that address issues of social justice (i.e. climate change, Black Lives Matter). In 2022, Grass Valley was declared a Monarch Sanctuary and in spring of 2023 we will welcome our first kaleidoscope (a group of butterflies) to our butterfly bushes!

Grass Valley is a yearly recipient of the Arts Incentive Grant (AIG), allowing us to partner with Luna Dance and create a K-5 dance program for students. Grass Valley students regularly engage in campus beautification, which includes new community murals featuring our very own students in 2021 and 2022!
